Sponsorship is $25 a month or $300 a year per person for food, shelter, health care and education. Your sponsorship is set up as a recurring gift at the level of support indicated. You may end the payments at any time in the future should you decide to stop sponsorship.

Jamyang Dolker

Jamyang was born in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, India. She has one sister and two brothers. One of her brother is a monk. Her sister goes to school. After their father expired the family suffered a lot. Jamyang is in grade II studying English, Tibetan and Maths.




Jamyang Dolma

Jamyang Dolma was born in Tawang, India. She is 14 years old. She has two younger brothers and two elder sisters. Her father does farm works and her mother crash stones to earn their living. She is studying hard at the nunnery and fond of drawing. She is studying in grade III.



Jamyang Tenzin

Jamyang was born in Tawang, India. Her parent's does farmers and they grow potatoes and rice in their small fields. Her mother has been sick for many years and the family is having financial difficulties to look after their many children.  She decided to join the Nunnery and her parents are happy about her decision.  She joined Keydong nunnery and was happy to be part of the nunnery. She is studying Tibetan, English, basic Math and Nepalis. After completing her studies she wishes to stay and serve at the nunnery.



Jamyang Tsewang

Jamyang was born and brought up in Tawang, India. She was raised by her mother. Her father passed away when she was a kid. She has two brothers and one sister. Her mother health condition is not good and she is financially unstable to take care of herself and her children. Jamyang decided to join the nunnery and was happy to be with her new friends.




Jamyang Tenzin

Jamyang was born at Tawang, India.  Her parent’s works in a farm and it is very difficult for them to grow good crops. They did not have enough money to buy fertilizer.  Her mother has been sick for many years and it's very difficult for the family to take care of their many children to look after.  Jamyang to joined the Nunnery and was happy to be part of the Nunnery. She wishes to complete her studies and serve the nunnery.


Thupten Choedon

Thupten was born in Tawang, India.  Her parents does farmers, she has two sisters and one younger brother.  Her little sister and brother go to school and her elder sister works to help the family. Thupten went to grade I and decided to become a nun. She is very happy and studying well. She is the smallest nun in the Nunnery.  She likes dancing and drawing.



Thupten Dolma

Thupten was from Tawang, India. Her mother works at home and her father is a framer.  Her father has been sick for many years, he suffered tuberculosis. Due to his poor health condition they could not grow crops well. It is very hard for him to take care of his four children. Thupten decided to become a nun and joined the nunnery. She likes to draw in her free time.



Thupten Kalsang

Thupten Kalsang was born in Tawang, India. She has one brother and one sister. They go to school. Her family have small land where they grown vegetables and sell it to the market. Her mother sometimes goes to work in the restaurant as a dish washer. Thupten completed grade IV in her local village school and decided to join the nunnery along with few of her friends. She like writing Tibetan Hand-written and reading English texts.



Thupten Kunchok

Thupten was from Tawang, India. She has three sisters and four brothers. They all have never been to school because of family financial situations.  All of the children work with their mother and father as stone crushers in their village.  They are very poor and live on a day to day basis.  Thupten joined the nunnery and now studying very hard and she is very hard working nun.



Thupten Palmo

Thupten father is a gate keeper, the income that her earns is not suficient for him to send his daugher and son to school. Thupten decided to become a nun and joined the nunnery in Year 2009.




Thupten Yangkey
Date of Birth: 1996

Thupten has one sister and one brother. They go to school. After their father passed away they were unable to go to school due to family financial condition.  Her mother works in the fields and did not have enough money to take care of her children.  Her brother helps her mother in the fields and Thupten decided to join the nunnery.


Thupten Lhadon
Date of Birth: 1997

Thupten was born in Tawang, India. Her father works at construction sites ahd her mother stays home. Thupten studied up to grade 3 in her local village school and left to join the nunnery.
