SPONSOR A NUN: DEPARTMENT OF RELIGION & CULTURE Sponsorship is $25 a month or $300 a year per person for food, shelter, health care and education. Your sponsorship is set up as a recurring gift at the level of support indicated. You may end the payments at any time in the future should you decide to stop sponsorship.

Kunchok parents are farmers in Tibet. She worked at home helping her mother in the fields. She came into exile in 2007. Presently she is studying at D. K. Samtenling Nunnery in India.

Ngawang left her country in Year 2002 to seek religious freedom and to be educated in exile. She is studying at Rinchen Choeling Nunnery.
Phurbu Dolma

Phurbu studied till 9th grade in Tibet. She came into exile in 2008. Presently she is studying at Tsegyal Shedrupling Nunnery in South India.

Code #: 18799 Samten is a semi orphan nun from Tibet. She came into exile in 2005. She is continuing her studies at Jangchub Choeling Nunnery in South India.

Tashi never got an opportunity to study in Tibet. She had been living with her parents helping them iin the fields. She fled Tibet in Year 2003 to pursue a proper education.
Thinlay Dolma

Thinlay was born in Chamdo, Tibet. She had never been to School in Tibet. Her parents were nomads and she was helping them at home. She fled Tibet in Year 2008 and presently she is studying in Theckchok Namdrol Nunnery in South India.
