Sponsorship is $25 a month or $300 a year per person for food, shelter, health care and education. Your sponsorship is set up as a recurring gift at the level of support indicated. You may end the payments at any time in the future should you decide to stop sponsorship.

Choedak Dorjee
Date of Birth: August 7, 1999
Choedak was born in a poor remote place in North East India. His family only source of income is farming, which is not sufficient for them to give education to their children. He was admitted at the monastery to study buddhist religious text.



Jangchup Dorjee
Date of Birth: January 2, 1998
Jangchup was born in Mon-Tawang, India . His parents does farming and their living source of income is mainly depend on agriculture. He was admitted in the monastery by his parents wish in order to pursue monastic studies.



Lobsang Gyatso
Date of Birth: October 1, 1980
Lobsang was born in Shigatse , Tibet . His parents are farmer. In 2005, he left his Shalu Monastery in Tibet to pursue further studies.



Kunsang Dorjee
Date of Birth: March 3, 1991
Kunsang was born in a poor remote place in North East India. His family only source of income is farming, which is not sufficient for them to give education to their children. He was admitted at the monastery to study buddhist religious text.



Lobsang Tsundue
Date of Birth: November 7, 1981
Lobsang was born in Shigatse , Tibet . He became monk at very small age and enrolled in a Shalu Monastery in his village. He was not allowed to study religion in Tibet due to the restrictions imposed by the Chinese government; he came into exile in 2005 to pursue his monastic education in exile Shalu Monastery.



Namgyal Dorjee
Date of Birth: Jan 20, 1995
Namgyal comes from a very poor family. They are farmers and the income is not sufficient to provide their large family members and makes it difficult to provide care for Namgyal's education.


Phuntsok Dorjee
Date of Birth: June 6, 1998
Phuntsok was born in a poor remote place in North East India. His parents are farmers in Mon-Tawang. Their only source of income is farming, which is not sufficient for them to give education to their children. Phuntsok is studying in grade IV.


Sangay Dorjee
Date of Birth: July 4, 1998
Sangay's parents live in a remote area of North East of India. They are farmes and their income is not sufficient to pay school fees for their children. Sangay was admitted at Shalu Monastery. He is studying in grade IV.


Soepa Gyatso
Date of Birth: October 4, 1985
Soepa was born in Shigatse , Tibet . He became monk at very small age and enrolled in a Shalu Monastery in his village. Date of Birth: April 4, 1998
Tsering was born in a poor remote place in North East India. His parents are farmers in Mon-Tawang. He is in grade IV.

Palden Dorjee
Date of Birth: May 6, 1998
Palden's parents live in a remote area of North East of India. They are farmes and their income is mainly depend on agriculture which is not sufficient to pay school fees for their children. Palden was admitted at Shalu Monastery. He is studying in grade IV.
Tenzin Wangchuk
Date of Birth: Jan 20, 1990
Tenzin was born in small remote village in Mon-Tawang. India. His parents are farmers and the income is not sufficient to provide their large family members and makes it difficult to provide care for Tenzin's education.
