Jampa was born to a poor family in very remote village Tawang in north eastern India.  His parents earn their living by working on a other people's fields.  They are labors getting very low salary. He has one sister who also helps their parents in the fields.  Jampa joined Thoesam School in March 2011. He is in grade lower kindergarten.

Lobsang was born in a remote place in Nepal.  He has one younger brother and one elder disabled brother.  His mothers earn their living by dong labor works for other family getting paid daily. One of his father’s friends left the family for his own benefit.  One of his father's friends brought him to Thoesam School and admitted in March 2011.

Ngawang was born in Shillong, India.  He has one sister. His father works as gatekeeper of a school which is why his sister got admitted.  After their father retired from work, due to financial difficulties his sister has to leave school to take care of the family.  Ngawang got admitted in School in March 2011.

Ngawang parents are farmers in a remote area of Tawang.  They grow crops and get paid on daily basis.  He has one elder brother and two sisters.  The income that his parents earns are not sufficient for them to educate their children.  Ngawang joined monastery to lesser his burden from his parents.

Tenzin was born in Tibet. His mother passed away when he was only two years old. He has three brothes. His father works at the construction sites. His income was not sufficient at all to take care of his three children. Tenzin was admitted in March 2011.

Gelek was born in Lithang, Tibet. His parents are farmers, who works in other people's fields. Gelek was admitted in March 2011.



Name: Tenzini Choedak

Tenzin is the youngest son, he has two brothers and two sisters. His parents are from the remote area of Tawang, India. His father sometimes gets a job of growing crops. The income that his father earns is the only source of income for his family and is not sufficient to proviide their large family members. Tenzin was admitted in March 2011.

Ngawang was born in a poor family in Tawang. He is 7 years old. he had to leave his monastery due to restriction imposed by the Chinese government, he escaped to India and joined the monastery to continue his studies.

Lobsang is the youngest son; he has two brothers who are monks and one sister His parents are from the remote area of Tawang, India. His father sometimes gets a job of growing crops. Lobsang mother does household works.  The income that his father earns is the only source of income for his family. Providing education to the children is not at all possible. Lobsang was admitted in January 2011.

Lobsang was born in Sikkim.  His mother left her family when he was very young.  He and his younger brother were raised by his father. His father tried his best by doing labor at the construction site and agricultural work.  The income that his father earns is not sufficient for him to take care of his children.   Lobsang got admitted in the monastery on March 2011.

Lobsang was born to a poor family in very remote village Tawang in north eastern India.  He has two brothers and one sister. His parents are uneducated. His father used to work to grow crops and also works at the construction sites.  He left his job due to his poor health condition.  His mother cleans the house of other peoples. The income that his mother earns is not sufficient to feed her family.  Lobsang was brought at the monastery on January 2011.  Presently he is studying in Lower Kindergarten.

Lobsang was born and brought up in a poor remote place in Tawang in north eastern India.  He has one younger sister and one elder brother. His parents earn their living by dong labor works for other family getting paid daily. Lobsang was admitted in January 2011.

Lobsang was born and brought up in a poor remote place in Tawang.  He has two brothers and one sister. His father is a teacher. His mother stays home to take care of her family and also does all the household works. The income that his father earns is not sufficient for him to take care of his children.   Lobsang got admitted in the monastery on March 2011.
