Sponsorship is $25 a month or $300 a year per person for food, shelter, health care and education. Your sponsorship is set up as a recurring gift at the level of support indicated. You may end the payments at any time in the future should you decide to stop sponsorship.

Kalsang is 18 years old, born to a nomad family in Tibet. He looked after their yaks and sheep with his brother. In 1996, he left his home in Tibet to receive His Holiness Dalai Lama's blessing and continue his studies freely in exile. He joined Sera Jhe Monastery.

Lobsang was born in Tibet. He escaped from Tibet with a group of few Tibetans crossed the Himalayas by foot and then finally to Nepal that took them to Dharamsala, India. He was ordination in 2006 and joined the Sera Jhe Monastery.

Lobsang grew up in remote village near Nepal. His parents are poor farmers and their income is not sufficient to pay school fee for his education. Lobsang was admitted at Sera Jhe in year 2009 and currently studying in secondary school.

Lobsang was from poor nomadic family in Tibet. His families are still in Tibet leads a semi-nomadic life.  He fled to India crossing the high Himalayan hill on foot, traveling days and nights, escaping from eyes of Chinese security personnel to receive His Holiness Dalai Lama's blessing and continue his studies freely in exile.

Name: Shakya Tsultrim

Shakya was born in Kham Gapa, Tibet.  He joined the monastery in Tibet at a very young age. He left Tibet in Year 1995 to receive blessing from his Holiness and to study freely. He studied at Sera Jhe Monastery. Being an enthusiastic monk, he collaborates looking after two monks and they all are studying very hard.

Lobsang Stamten was ordained in year 1984.  He escaped to India ito study freely and joined the monastery n Year 1994.  He is very hard working and good in studies. He has no one to take care of and is under the care of the monastery.
