Geshe Lobsang Chojor

Geshe Lobsang Chojor was born in

. He joined Drepung Loseling Monastery in
Tibet
when he was six years old and received ordination vow from Minyak Tripa Yeshi wangden. At the age of 20, he began training on multiphoni chanting and performing rituals. At 28, he received full ordination vow from Ven. Pema Gyaltsen then abbot of Drepung Loseling Monastery in
Lhasa
. He escaped to
India
. Ever since he came to the relocated Loseling Monastery in
South India
, he has assumed responsibilities in various capacities. At the age of 59 he received Geshe degree after completion of monastic studies. In recognition of his ability and competence, he was appointed disciplinarian of Drepung Loseling. The tenure of displinarian at these monasteries is one year each. Currently he is 82 years old and completely depended upon the Monastery.

Geshe Yeshi Gonpo

Geshe Yeshi Gonpo was born in

. At the age of 8. he joined the Drepung monastery and began to learn to read and perform rituals. He fled to

at age 18 and studied at Drepung Loseling Monastery in

. After many years of struggle in learning, he succeeded in completing the traditional Buddhist studies and was awarded Geshe degree in Year 1981. On special request, he served as the disciplinarian of the monastery for two years. In 1988 he was appointment the deputy abbot of the monastery and served for eight years.

Geshe Phuntsok Rabten escaped from

in 1959 with some of his fellow monks. He was born in 1936 in

. He joined Drepung Loseling Monastery near

at the age fifteen. In exile he joined Drepung Monastery and was elected to the post of administrator for twice at a time. In 1991 he received Geshe degree and almost four years beginning from 2004 he was entrusted with the responsibility of supervising the construction of new assembly hall.

. He studied there for four years and in 1998 he fled to

and enrolled in Drepung Loseling Monastery and ever since he has been residing there. He was considered as one of the best students at Buddhist philosophy subject. In 2007 he got Pontine infectioin stroke and consulted many doctors but did not show any signs of improvement. It has been two and half years since he was hospitalized and is still under treatment.

At the beginning of 2008, he got serious health problem and was diagnosed with Hepatitis B since then he has been undergoing treatment, however due to financial problem he sometimes has to discontinue his treatment.
