Tsering was born in Dhingri, Tibet. She escapes along with her brother in Year 2004, her brother who is also under the care of Tibetan Homes Foundation. Tsering is studying in sixth grade; she enjoys playing basketball and participated in school basketball team.

Tenzin's family lives in very remote place of Zanskar-Ladakh. His parents earn their livelihood by cultivating small plot of land in summer. He has one brother and one sisters, all of them are studying. The little income that his family earns is not enough for the family to educate all of their children.

Chemi 's parents are divorced, he lives with his father and an very aged grandmother at home. His father is physically not well and unable to work. He has one younger brother Tashi Wangyal. Due to family poor background, Chemi and his brother got an admission at the School on April 2010 and right now he is studying in grade II.

Kunga grew up in a Tibetan refugee settlement at Bandara, South India. He has three brothers. All of them are studying in local school in their village. His parents are undergoing economic problem to continue with their child's education. Kunga was admitted at the Tibetan Homes Foundation in April 2010 under the destitute case and is take care by the school.

Tashi and his brother Chemi share same room in SOS #07. Their parents are divorced and his father who is physically not well. Their grandmother takes care of both of them and it’s very difficult for her due to her old age. She approached the School with recommendation letter from their local representative office. Tashi and his brother Chemit were admitted and now studying in grade I.

Tenzin’s father runs a small stationary shop at Dekyiling to feed his six members of the family, three children including an aged grandmother. The only income generated from the small shop is not sufficient to take care of his family. Tenzin got an accident while playing and that left her right now complete blindness.
