Dolma Choezom
Date of Birth: June 10, 1998
School: Lophel Ling School, Manang
Dolma parents are from Samdo, Nubri that is near Nepal-Tibet border. Dolma father works as a porter and mother is a homemaker. Sometime she goes to work in other fields when hired. Dolma has six members in her family. Dolma got admission in Year 2006. There is one school in her village but her family is not in a position to pay school fees.

Dawa Gyaltsen
Date of Birth: December 26, 2000

Gyalten's parents are from Samdo, Nubri,which is near Nepal-Tibet border. Gyaltsen has two brothers and two sisters. His father is a porter and his mother house wife sometimes she goes to work in others field when hired. Dawa is in grade I.

Karma Sherab
Date of Birth: July 26, 2001

Karma has six members in his family with grandpa and grandma. His father works as a cook during tourist season and sometimes works as a porter for the tourist.  Karma's mother is very weak. His father Passang is the only one who earns.  The income earned by his father is not sufficient for the family. They do not have any permanent source of income.

Phuntsok
Date of Birth: March 13, 1998
School: Lophel Ling School, Manang
Phuntsok was born at Chirkyung village, Manang district of Nepal. His father is a woodcutter and mother is a housewife. It takes one day for his father to make a bundle of wood to sells at the market. His mother health is very weak and could not do much work. There are eight members in his family. Among which six are children, 3 boys and 3 girls. Two elder brothers are studying at Mt. Kalish in Pokhara and three sisters are helping their parents in collecting woods. Due to large family with less income, it is very difficult for his parents to pay school fees to Phuntsok. It would be immense help if Phuntsok get a sponsor to pay for his education.

Pema Wangdak
Date of Birth: December 12, 2000

Pema was born in Pisang village of Manang . He has five members in the family with grandma, both of his parents are working in other field, they did not have land to do farming. His sister is studying in the same school. The income earned by his parents is not sufficient to cover up all of the expenses.

Sonam Tsering
Date of Birth: March 16, 2001

Sonam's parents are from Humdey village of Manang. He has two brothers and one sister studying in Nepal Government School at Manang. His father runs a small tea stall and his mother works in other fields, they did not have land to do farming. The income earned by his parents is not sufficient to cover up all of the expenses for their school-going children.

Tashi Dolma Gurung
Date of Birth: July 3, 2002
School: Lophel Ling School, Manang
Tashi's mother passed away when she was born, leaving behind three children with father.  Her father could not handle all of his children and admitted eldest son to the Monastery. Second son was under the care of his sister.  Her father runs a small tea stall. The income that he earns is not sufficient to cover up all the expenses and to pay school fee for his daughter.

Tashi Lama

Tashi's mother is a local people of Manang whereas his father is a Tibetan. He has three brothers. His father cooks in Manang restaurant during tourist season. His mother is a housewife and look after her children. The income generated from his father is not enough to feed all of his children. It would be immense help if Tashi get a sponsor for his education.

Tashi Yangzom
Date of Birth: September 21, 2000

Tashi's father is a local people of Manang whereas her mother is a Tibetan. Tashi has one brother and two sisters. Her brother and sister are studying in same school. The youngest sister stays at home. They have a small plot of land where they cultivate maize, millet and potatoes, the income earned by their parents are not sufficient for the family. They do not have any permanent source of income.

Tenzin Lhamo
Date of Birth: July 20, 2002
School: Lophel Ling School, Manang
Tenzin was born in Humde village of Manang. During tourist season her father went to Heataura for petty business and did not returned. Tenzin has two brothers, one is in the monastery and other brother is under the care of her Aunty. Tenzin is living with her mother, her mother worked as a foster mother at Lopel Ling School for a temporary period. Right now, she does not have any permanent job.  It would be immense help if Tenzin get a sponsor for her education.

Tenzin Metok
Date of Birth: 2001
School: Lophel Ling School , Manang
Tenzin was born in Manang Village. She has one brother and one sister. Her father works as a cook during tourist seasons and during off season he and his wife works as a framer in the plot of a land of local Manangi peoples. Due to low income it is very difficult for a family to cope with every expenses.

Tenzin Passang

Tenzin mother was from Brakka Village of Manang. There are five members in his family with grandpa and two aunties. Tenzin father left his mother when she was pregnant. Tenzin is the only child. They have a small plot of land where they cultivate maize, millet and a potato, the income earned by his mother is not sufficient for the family. They do not have any permanent source of income.

Tsering Choedon

Tsering's father runs a small tea stall during tourist season. During off-season, he works in the field of local people. Tsering has one elder brother who is studying in the same school.  Due to family poor financial background, your generous help will help towards her education.

Tashi Dolma

Tashi was born in Manang village. She has four members in her family. Both of her parents are farmers and they works in the fields of local Manangi's field when hired. The family does not have any permanent source of income and slo they does not possess any plot of land for farming. Tashi was admitted in school in year 2008 and right now she is studying at Lower kindergarten. It would be immense help if Tashi get a sponsor for her education.

Karma Dechen

Karma was born in Darapani village, his parents are from Tsum village before coming to Manang. His father was a porter and come to Manang with the tourist. Karma has seven members in the family. His father admitted two sons in a monastery in Kahtmandu, Nepal. Rest two sons and one daughter are with the family at Manang. Due to large family members and poor economic condition. His father is facing a great financial difficult to send his children to school.

Karma Wangyal

Karma has four member in his family. His mother is a Tibetan living in Manang Village and got married to a Manangi Man. His father works as a porter durign tourist season and that the only source of income for his family. Karma mother does not work due to her physially weak and unhealthy.

Mingchung
Date of Birth: June 15, 1999
School: Lophel Ling School , Manang
Mingchung was born in Samdo, Nubri. Her father is a sherpheard and her mother stays home sometimes when hire she works at others people fields. Mingchung is in grad I. She has one brother who is a monk in India .
