Sponsorship is $30 a month or $360 a year per person for food, shelter, health care and education. Your sponsorship is set up as a recurring gift at the level of support indicated. You may end the payments at any time in the future should you decide to stop sponsorship.

Dorjee Tsering
Date of Birth: July 10, 1995
Dorjee was born in Tibet. His parents are in Tibet. He has two brothers and one sister. He came to exile with his brothers. His siter is still in Tibet. He studied at TCV School till grade eight and joined performing arts in year 2009. Dorjee is hard working and has always interested in learning Tibetan Arts, Music, Dance and Opera.  



Sonam Dhargyal
Date of Birth: January 7, 1994
Sonam grew up in Hunsur, Tibetan Rabgyaling Settlement in South India.  He is the youngest one in his family; he has two sisters and one brother. His brother is in army and sister studying.  Sonam was fascinated in Tibetan culture dance and music and wants to become a professional on this line. He dropped his school after seven grades and was delighted for admitted into the TLPA School.



Tashi Lhamo
Date of Birth: October 18, 1992
Tashi was born in Mainpat Tibetan refugee settlement in South India.  Both of her parents are farmers. She has one sister and one brother. Tashi dropped her school after seven grades and joined at Thantong Lhugar. Her aim is to become a good musician and an excellent teacher in the future.



Tenzin Khenrap
Date of Birth: July 06, 1993
Tenzin was from Mainpat Tibetan refugee settlement in South India.  His family background is extremely very poor.  Tenzin has four sisters and one brother.  All of his sisters are studying in the settlement local school.  His brother, who is in the Army, is the only sole earner of the family. Since from the childhood Tenzin love to sing and dance.  After 8th grade, he got an admission at Thantong Lhugar and was very happy to be part of their teams.



Tenzin Passang
Date of Birth: January 15, 1996
Tenzin lives in Mainpat Tibetan Settlement. She is the youngest of the family; she has one brother and one sister. Her parent does farming and is the only source of income.   Her brother is in Army and sister does cooperative society job. Tenzin loves listening songs, singing and dancing. She joined Thangtong Lhugar because of her interest in becoming Tibetan performing arts.




Tenzin Tashi
Date of Birth: December 3, 1990
Tenzin was born at Mundgod Tibetan settlement in South India. She has two brothers and two sisters. The family solely depends on the income they generate by cultivating the field.  His parents are not professionally skilled to make extra livelihood and having financial problem to take care of their children. Tenzin's dream is to become a great Tibetan artist.




Tenzin Yangzom
Date of Birth: February 2, 1996
Tenzin was born to a very humble and poor family. She has the middle one, she has four sisters. Her parents are farmers. The family solely depends on the income they generate by cultivating the field, which they toil so hard but the yield is normally insufficient to make ends meet and is very hard for her family to educate all of their children.




Tsering Tashi
Date of Birth: August 20, 1991
Tsering was from Tibet. His old parents are in Tibet.  He has two elder brothers, both are in college. All of them studied at the TCV School in India.  Both of his brothers are continuing their studies. Tsering took more interest in performing arts. After 8th grade, he got an admission at Thantong Lhugar and was very happy to be part of their teams.


Tsewang Yougyal
Date of Birth: January 1, 1986
Tsewang is from a very poor family in Miao Tibetan Settlement.  He has 11 family members.  His family does farming on a small piece of land for their livelihood. His father passed away when he was very small.  After completed 12th grade he stayed home for one year helping his mother in the fields.   Due to his interest in performing he joined the performing arts to become a good artist teacher.
