With a grant of $14,000, KAP established the Dorje and Sanji Charity Home (Orphanage) named after the two founders in Tibet in September 2004.  This Home has 25 orphans and KAP provides its maintenance of $30 per month per student ($360 per year) a total of $9,000 each year.

Dorje and Sanji Charity Home is located in the Waka Township, on the bank of two major rivers and in the center of five counties of Derong, Chatring, Batang and Dechen and Gyalthang on the border of two Chinese provinces of Sichuan and Yunnan.  KAP requires to recruit and select orphans from these five counties.  These 25 orphans studies in the local primary school and live in the school hostel free of charges.  They also eat with local students and we pay about $2 per day per student.
