Support for The Noenga School of Disabled Tibetan Children
The Noenga School is the first and only school of its kind built specifically for Tibetan disabled children at the urging and initial funding from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Disabled children receive regular classroom education, vocational training and health and physical therapy in an atmosphere designed to help them develop to their fullest capacity. The Department of Health, which bears responsibility for this school, is seeking support for the operation and maintenance of the Neonga School. You can sponsor a child by donating $30/month, or $360/year. You will receive a case history and photograph of the child and, if you wish, regular correspondence from the child you will be supporting as well as progress reports from the school. If you prefer, you may make a general donation in any amount for the general benefit of the school or other Tibetan children. To support this and other projects for children, please go to our
Sponsorship Program page.
