The Tibet Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with tax id #13-3115145. Accordingly, all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You can help the Tibet Fund by sending a tax-deductible donation in any amount for general use or you may earmark your donation for a specific project. Please note we cannot accept non-cash donations such as clothing, books, medicine, etc.

Become a Blue Book Member. The Tibetan Solidarity Alliance Blue Book project was initiated to solicit annual contributions that directly support the work of the Central Tibetan Administration. By being a Blue Book holder, you express your solidarity with the broad vision of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in his peaceful and nonviolent struggle for freedom for the people of Tibet.

To join the Blue Book Project, you may pledge $25 minimum annually and you will receive a "Blue Book," a handsome, 4" x 5 3/4" 64-page hardbound booklet with a blue linen finish cover with the seal of Tibet foil-stamped in gold. With your first contribution, your Blue Book will be validated with a Tibetan stamp.  Thereafter, each time we receive your contribution, we will mail you validation stamps like the ones below depicting the Potala Palace and various Tibetan designs that you may affix in your book. Support Our Sponsorship Program. Tibet Fund supports individuals in Tibet and India through our extensive sponsorship programs for monks, nuns, children, the disabled, the elderly, livestock for the refugee community, and more. Please click here to learn more and to support this effort.

Make a General Donation. Make an unrestricted general donation to support the activities of The Tibet Fund. You may make an online donation or fill out our general support form and mail it in with your donation.

Hold a Fundraising Event for The Tibet Fund. Individuals and groups have organized events such Tibet-related film shows, Tibetan dances, lectures and talks, etc. to raise money for the Tibet Fund. Please let us know if you would like information on Tibet-related films and Tibetan dance groups which may be willing to perform at your event. The International Campaign for Tibet website www.savetibet.org has a list of speakers on topics related to Tibet and Tibetans.

Include The Tibet Fund in Your Estate Plan. Including The Tibet Fund in your estate plan is a way that you can leave a legacy that will help The Tibet Fund continue with its work of assisting Tibetans improve their lives. By donating stocks that have risen in value since you purchased them, you get the full tax deduction of their current value, while avoiding the capital gains taxes you would pay if they were sold. Give a Donation in Honor of a Loved One. Make a donation to honor a loved one or friend. In addition, supporters often designate The Tibet Fund as the recipient of donations in lieu of flowers being sent upon the death of a friend or family member. The Tibet Fund would be happy to send a card to the person or family in whose remembrance or honor you sent the gift.

Make a Special Occasion Gift. Spread your joy on your special occasion. Ask your friends and loved ones to make a donation to The Tibet Fund in lieu of gifts for a wedding, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, birthday or other special occasion.
