YOUR GENERAL DONATIONS ARE VITAL TO THE TIBET FUND


Unrestricted gifts are the lifeblood of our organization.  Your generous general operating gifts allow us to put 100% of donations to work for the Tibetan people as well as allowing The Tibet Fund to grow as the needs of the Tibetan people.   General funds are used for program development and allow The Tibet Fund and our vital programs to remain sustainable in the long-term. 

We are launching two new giving societies for donors that would like to be more involved with the activities of The Tibet Fund from receiving updates from the field, our newsletter and special events to joining The Tibet Fund Rinchen Dharlo on an exclusive trip of a lifetime to India and Nepal.  Gifts to the Tibet Fund general operating fund enable our staff and partners on the ground to continue our work on behalf of the Tibetan people. These general operating gifts allow us to send 100% of all donations directly to the people of Tibet living in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet.  These funds allow us to respond to the changing needs of the Tibetan people, providing the precious support for administration of our programs, program development or emergency funds.

You can request to review  our financials, letters of 501(c)3 determination, annual budget and we are always happy to meet our supporters face-to-face.  At The Tibet Fund, we believe in 100% transparency where your precious dollars are concerned.  It is our policy to send 100% of our sponsor’s donations to the designated programs, children, monks, nuns and elders, so your general support is very important to us. All gifts to The Tibet Fund are critical to our survival and to the continued existence as a cohesive community with their identity and culture intact.

If you would like to make this gift in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special occasion, we will send a beautiful acknowledgment card on your behalf. Please provide the occasion, name and address for the recipient of your card in an email to us after you complete the checkout process. Be sure to include your name and the amount of your donation.
